The FOMO of “Just in case” and the Solution of “Just in time.”

🧠 What I’m Learning:

  • The type of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) I experience is the fear that a hidden piece of information holds the key to my success, buried within a book I haven't read or a podcast I haven't listened to.

  • However, the truth is that I am already aware of most of the problems I am currently facing. Therefore, it is better to address these problems now while they are still relevant. If I need additional information to aid in my execution, I will seek it. But I should read, listen, and learn only when it is necessary, rather than potentially needed in the future.

  • The idea was triggered by listening to this discussion between Dr. Andrew Huberman and Tim Ferriss.

    • Protein:

      • ❌ Large fries at Chic-Fil-A is 5g of protein.

      • ✅ Spicy Chicken Sandwich (more desirable food choice) is 29.7g protein.

    • Cost:

      • ✅ Large fries at Chic-Fil-A is $2.75

      • ❌ Spicy Chicken Sandwich (more desirable food choice) is $5.25.
